Dr Curran brings extensive experience in general surgery with a particular clinical focus on gallstone disease, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy for both elective and emergency presentations. Experienced General & Laparoscopic Surgeon
A graduate of the University of Sydney, Dr Curran completed his advanced surgical training on the NSW Western rotation and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2008.
He currently works as a Consultant General Surgeon at Westmead Hospital and Blacktown & Mt Druitt Hospitals, where his clinical work focuses on laparoscopic general surgery. In addition to his public hospital appointments, Dr Curran operates privately at Westmead Private Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital, and also consults at Delmar Private Hospital in Dee Why.
