South Steyne Medical Centre can provide standard pre-employment medicals. This takes the form of a medical questionnaire and a physical examination.  The physical examination includes a sight test (including colour blindness), cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and ENT examinations and a general musculoskeletal examination.

The doctors at South Steyne Medical Centre are happy to liaise with employers on a regular basis in relation to Work Cover consultations.  They recognise that both employees and employers are best served if a sick or injured worker can return to some form of work at the earliest opportunity.  Many clients provide us with a list of suitable duties, which enables our clinical staff to recommend alternate positions until an employee is able to return to his/her regular work.  Our doctors are also happy to undertake site visits, in order to gain a better understanding of the workplace
