Dr Jo began her journey in general practice in rural Tasmania in 2008, after working across multiple tertiary hospitals in Australia. She returned to Sydney in 2010 and has since devoted her career to high-quality family medicine and patient-centred care in the community.
Dr Jo is a non-procedural GP who embraces the role of a generalist family physician. She takes great care in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of health concerns, always striving for evidence-based, up-to-date clinical solutions.
With an interest and expertise for Allopathic Lifestyle Medicine, Dr Jo helps individuals and families optimise overall wellbeing. She believes in complementing medical therapies with tailored lifestyle strategies (bespoke “lifestyle scripts”) that evolve over time to support meaningful and sustainable results.
Dr Jo supports patients who:
Live with chronic health conditions
Wish to optimise wellbeing
Want a balanced approach combining medical care and lifestyle change
Are committed to long-term health goals
Patients interested in this holistic approach are encouraged to ask reception about extended Lifestyle Medicine consultations with Dr Jo.
Schedule a consultation with Dr Jo Lobb online, via phone, or in person. For lifestyle medicine goals and chronic disease planning, we recommend selecting a longer consultation.
Come prepared to discuss your health history, current concerns, goals and any specific challenges you’re facing. Dr Jo will partner with you to develop a personalised care plan that integrates clinical advice with lifestyle guidance.
Health is a journey. Follow-up appointments allow Dr Jo to monitor progress, refine your plan, and support sustainable change over time.
Personalised consultations that incorporate lifestyle strategies such as nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep health and behaviour change support alongside conventional medical care.
