Dr Vivian Chan is an experienced General Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in emergency medicine and general practice, with a strong focus on travel medicine and pre-travel health advice. She graduated with honours from UNSW in 1995 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Chan has extensive international experience, having worked as a Senior Registrar in the Emergency Department at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. Her background includes involvement in overseas medical evacuations and providing medical coverage for major international events such as the ASEAN Games, Youth Olympics, and the APEC Summit. This experience gives her a practical, real-world understanding of health risks faced by travellers.

He holds a PhD in skin cancer from Queensland University of Technology and has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals, with his research cited in over 200 publications worldwide. He has also presented at both international and national conferences.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Khalesi is an accredited clinical supervisor with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, mentoring doctors in training. He has also been actively involved in teaching medical students at the University of Sydney and the University of New England since 2018.
